The IBA is dedicated to the conservation of all species of bears.
The organization consists of several hundred members from over
20 countries. It supports the scientific management of bears

Bear Association
It is the mission of the American Bear Association to promote
the well being of the black bear through a better understanding
of its behavior, biology, and habitat needs. LINK
North American Bear Center
NABC works to improve
the understanding and appreciation of North American Bears, their

and their relationship to humans through education, research and

Interagency
Grizzly Bear Committee
The Interagency Grizzly Bear Committee (IGBC) was created in 1983
to lead the recovery of the grizzly bear in the lower 48 states. Link

To promote bear conservation throughout the world, the GBF is
involved in a number of programs and projects including hands-on
scientific research, biological consulting, school programs,
and field courses.
